Swimming leg
1km

The Swim Leg takes place in the heart of the action, with spectators cheering from the banks of Jayes Bridge.

Swimmers will enter the Blackwood River approximately 500 metres upstream of Jayes Bridge, making their way downstream and exiting 500 metres past the bridge.

At the finish, you’ll make a short run up the riverbank to pass your team bib to the waiting equestrian competitor at the clearly marked handover zone or to a volunteer if you’re team don’t have a horse. It’s a fast, high-energy transition that adds to the excitement of race day.

This leg is short, sharp and thrilling
