The final leg of the Blackwood Marathon is a scenic ride, designed to test endurance, strength and focus. Starting on a short gravel section, the course quickly transitions to bitumen roads that wind through rolling countryside with several steep climbs and fast descents.

This is no easy cruise - it's a course that rewards preparation and pushes riders to dig deep.

The final stretch leads competitors back onto a gravel track as they approach the Bridgetown Sports Ground, where crowds of spectators and fellow competitors will be waiting to cheer them across the finish line.

It’s a tough but triumphant end to one of WA’s most unique multi-discipline events.
